Grapes help with diabetes
Molecule of natural origin, called resveratrol, affects the level of insulin in mice even when they were subjected to a diet rich in fat. Rezveratrolat is a plant antioxidant that is contained in the seeds, skins and in small quantities in leaves of grape.

New research conducted at the medical center at the University of Texas, has demonstrated that the direct effects of the substance contained in the grapes on certain proteins in the brain is to some extent, protection from diabetes.

"Our experiment shows that the brain plays an important role in the regulation of the antidiabetic effects of resveratrol, regardless of changes in nutrition and weight of the sick" - says Dr. Roberto Kopari, lead author of the study. But he stresses that the data do not lead to the false conclusion that the use of products from red grapes (like wine) may alleviate the condition of diabetes. According to Dr. Kopari to accumulate in the brain enough resveratrol, equivalent to that used in the experiment should drink less wine it will undoubtedly cause the most adverse health effects, especially the liver.
