Vaginitis
is an inflammation of the vagina, which is most often caused by various
infections, some which are associated with serious diseases. The most common vaginal infections are:
* Bacterial vagitit * Trichomoniasis * Vaginal thrush (vaginal fungus) Some vaginal infections are sexually transmitted, but others, such as vaginal candidiasis, probably not. Other causes of vaginitis Although the most common vaginal infections in women have bacterial vaginosis, trichomoniasis and vaginal candidiasis, there are other reasons - sexually transmitted infections, inflammation and allergic reactions. Allergic symptoms are caused by spermicides preparations, vaginal hygiene products, detergents and fabric softeners. Inflammation of the cervix of these products is often associated with abnormal vaginal discharge (vaginal discharge), which differs from true vaginal infections by laboratory tests. | |
